NetherRealm studies dropped the above trailer today revealing 3 new playable characters in Mortal Kombat 11. They will be released in the Kombat Pack 2 DLC. The trailer ended up shocking a lot of fans for a surprising reason. Rambo will be included as a character in the DLC. Also accompanying Rambo as new DLC characters is Prince and Mileena.
In the Playstation Blog, Story & Voiceover Director Dominic Cianciolo shared an update on the new playable characters coming to DLC. He said Rain will wield a katar that can be used to "slash and stab his opponents". He will also be able to use "magic to open a rift" and all of his signature moves are "reimagined.... [and] expressed in new and unique ways". He goes on to say that Mileena will have "razor-sharp claws" and comes with a Shawo Kahn style helmet.
As for Rambo, NetherRealm decided to go with the classic First Blood look and feel of the character. And no, that was no budget voice-actor for Rambo in the trailer. It was Sylvester Stallone himself.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will release on November 17, 2020 and includes the base game, Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath, Kombat Pack 1, and Kombat Pack 2. It will include a total of 13 DLC Characters. See below for the full info:
