A lot of us thought the Snyder Cut of Justice League would never see the light of day but that didn't stop Zack Snyder and the fans from pushing real hard for the project's release. Now, we're only a few months away from witnessing the comic book spectacle. However, according to the famed DC director, he wasn't expecting Warner Bros. to be so supportive of his movement. In fact, Snyder says that he initially thought WB would get in his way and force him to stop talking about the project before it materialized.

In a recent appearance on the Film Junkee Vodka stream, Snyder shared his fears about the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement during its early stages. "At the time I wasn't sure how much I could talk about it." He later revealed that he wanted to give fans hope with regard to the project which is why he's been releasing JL-related content all these years. "I wanted to give them information about it."

As the Watchmen director was giving fans major teasers, the thought that was running through his head was, "I don't know when someone is going to tell me to stop." That must have been a stressful time for Snyder but thankfully, his cut of Justice League was ultimately greenlit.

There's no doubt that it's an exciting time to be a DCEU fan, but one can't help to be anxious about the future of the franchise following the Snyder Cut. Obviously, the project will determine Warner Bros. Pictures' next move, and fans are hoping for its success as it will open brand new doors for the franchise.
