One can argue that Zack Snyder's true cut of Justice League could very well be the director's greatest DC Extended Universe accomplishment to date but things weren't always smooth-sailing for Snyder and a lot of us are aware that some, if not most of his plans for the franchise actually didn't come to fruition.

Now, amid all the hype surrounding the Snyder Cut, the fan-favorite DCEU director is revealing some of his early plans for the franchise. Some of you may not know about this but there have been rumors circulating all over the internet for years that Star Wars actor Adam Driver was once upon a time considered by Snyder for a DC role.

In a new interview with MTV News, he pretty much confirmed that Driver was in fact under his radar some years back and when asked if he was supposed to play Dick Grayson Robin opposite Ben Affleck's Batman, Snyder denied and said: "I did talk to Adam about a role but it wasn't Nightwing." Check out the interview here:

Zack didn't actually reveal which character Adam would have played and I guess it will forever remain a mystery. But in case the folks over at Warner Bros. changes their minds and considers keeping Snyder on board to oversee the DCEU, there's still a good chance that we could see Driver join the franchise in the future. He found a great deal of success in the Star Wars universe despite the sequels being so divisive so I'm sure he'll also fare well in other franchises like Marvel and DC.

Meanwhile. Zack Snyder's Justice League is now available for streaming on HBO Max.
