The entire Marvel fandom is still in shock following the surprise entry of Evan Peters in WandaVision, officially taking on the role of Pietro Maximoff, a character he pretty much made famous in the X-Men films. However, this "new" version of Pietro seems to be hiding something from Wanda and she's growing more and more suspicious of her returning twin brother.

Evan's casting choice came as a huge stunner to MCU fans but apart from its shock value, his true involvement in the hit Disney+ series is still shrouded by mystery. Is Evan really playing the Westview version of Pietro or he is actually the iconic Marvel villain Mephisto?

Pietro's eccentric behavior might be a dead giveaway that he's not actually the person he claims he is. In Episode 6, he even refers to Tommy and Billy as "demon spawns" and if you're a longtime follower of the comics, you're very much aware that it's a direct reference to how the twins were created through Mephisto.

Even legendary artist Raf Grassetti, who is best known for his work on God of War is convinced that Peters could end up becoming the MCU's version of the devil. Taking to his official Instagram page, Grassetti unveiled his sinister take on the character, depicting Evan as the true villain of the show. Check out the menacing image here:

We only have three episodes left and it's pretty much guaranteed that we'll finally get to meet the series' true villain in the end. Is it Agnes? Pietro? Wanda? Hayward? We still don't know for sure. Quite frankly, it's amazing that we're still in the guessing game at this stage and it just goes to show how brilliant the writers of WandaVision are.

The latest episode of WandaVision is now streaming on Disney+.
