When Sony officially launched its own Spider-Man film universe back in 2018, it was clear from the get-go that it will take place in a separate realm outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and for years, the production company has tried its best to shy away from Marvel Studios' own shared universe despite the fact that they own the complete film rights to Spider-Man. There have been rumblings over the last couple of months that Sony and Marvel's deal is coming to a close after Spider-Man: No Way Home but now, we can confidently say that it's far from done.

Of course, anything is virtually possible in the world of comic book films and with the MCU exploring the wonders of the multiverse in Phase Four, we're definitely in for some mind-blowing crossovers in the coming years. Speaking of, Venom: Let There Be Carnage's post-credits scene has already leaked online ahead of its theatrical release tomorrow and it's something you'd have no problem sinking your teeth into.

The clip has surfaced on multiple social media platforms and sees Eddie Brock lying in his bed and talking to Venom. A massive explosion would then occur and all of a sudden, they're seemingly transported to a different room. Shockingly enough, as Brock checks out the television, we get a shot of Spider-Man: Far From Home's jaw-dropping final sequence where Peter Parker is revealed to be the web-slinger. Holy bleep! The full clip is dubbed in Spanish but you'll get the gist of it. Check it out here:

It'll be interesting to see what role Venom plays in the MCU considering he was sort of portrayed as a hero in his own universe, battling other symbiotes. As it stands, it would be safe to assume that the character will take a darker turn and become a villain in Earth-616 but the chances of him actually aligning himself with Spidey are there as well. Remember, this is the MCU we're talking about and they like to pull some swerves every now and then.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will hit cinemas tomorrow, October 1st.
