We can all agree that Marvel actors are beloved by many fans all across the globe but despite that, they are still not immune to getting criticized by people for the pettiest of reasons, and more often than not, they are just victims of accusations that are pretty much baseless. Just recently, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Sebastian Stan has been on the receiving end of backlash as of late following allegations of racism after he liked a random video on Instagram.

Naturally, the constant backlash he's been getting over something that wasn't even confirmed in the first place is getting to his nerves and has obviously affected him both emotionally and mentally. I mean, after all, they are still human beings at the end of the day.

Participating in Variety's star-studded Marvel panel along with MCU co-stars Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Tom Hiddleston, Stan offered an intriguing answer to a question given to him. He was asked how playing Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier for the last 10 years changed his life.

In a cryptic response, Sebastian seemingly threw shade at his critics who have been hell-bent on trying to "cancel" him over the last couple of months over unverified internet gossip. Expressing his frustration, Stan said: "You know, you’re just trying to kind of, like, still have some sort of life, I guess, without someone commenting on it." Check out the clip below:

It's sad that people like him are targeted by this sick new culture we have these days. What's more appalling is that more people are actually trying to "normalize" cancel culture. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that the internet, social media specifically, has become a breeding ground for unnecessary hate and negativity and I'm truly hoping that we could end cancel culture as soon as possible.

Sebastian Stan's next MCU project is rumored to be Captain America 4.
