The Marvel Cinematic Universe will undergo some "fantastic" changes as Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm are set to make their much-awaited debut in Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four reboot. So far, we still know very little about the upcoming project and it looks like Kevin Feige will be introducing the First Family in Phase 5.
The F4 reboot's official cast hasn't been confirmed as well but of course, fans already have their top picks for the actors they want to see in the project. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt still lead various polls and people can't see any actors other than the two who would be the perfect Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman. Guys like Dacre Montgomery and Zac Efron are also the fan-favorites to play Human Torch, while John Cena and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson would make a convincing The Thing according to fans.
As for the film's main villain, we still don't know which character it would be but assuming Marvel Studios follows the formula of the previous films as well as the comics, it's safe to assume that the Fantastic Four will once again be taking on Doctor Doom, this time in Earth-616. Now, according to Las Vegas oddsmakers Bovada, The Mandalorian's Giancarlo Esposito is the current favorite to play Victor Von Doom in the MCU. He may not be the obvious choice traditionally speaking, but his stellar performance in the Star Wars spinoff show was enough to convince fans that he'll be a great Doctor Doom.
The studio seems to be in no rush to add the Fantastic Four to the mix but the moment they arrive in the MCU, it could spell great things for the future of the franchise. I'm also pretty certain that Feige and his crew will handle the characters better than the previous films.
