Star Wars fans were in major disbelief after The Mandalorian Season 2 didn't feature an appearance from The Armorer. Played by actress Emily Swallow in Season 1, The Armorer played a vital role in the show, giving Din Djarin his upgraded beskar armor and somewhat served as Mando's voice of reason and the person who pretty much taught him about the Mandalorian creed. Her absence in Season 2 was never addressed but it still has fans thinking if she'll actually make her way back to the MandoVerse in the upcoming third season.

During an appearance at the 2021 Dragon Con (via The Direct) along with co-star Omid Abtahi, Swallow played coy when asked about her potential involvement in The Mandalorian's third season and jokingly asked: "Season 3 of what?" before saying that she's in no position to confirm nor deny things.

The conversation would later take an interesting turn when she was asked about the Mandalorian creed and whether or not someone should be punished for not honoring it. She said: "Interesting question. I'm trying to figure out what I can say [...] I would imagine that there has to be some sort of punishment, and I hope there would be redemption. I think there has to be redemption because I think there's always redemption in Star Wars."

Considering Season 3 looks to be revolving around the epic clash between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze over the Darksaber and the right to rule the Mandalore throne, it wouldn't be farfetched to think that the Armorer could play a vital role in the upcoming season. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how everything plays out but I'm sure Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have a few tricks up their sleeves.

The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to begin filming soon.
