Gina Carano definitely turned a lot of heads in the entertainment industry thanks to her involvement in the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian. A lot of you already know by now that Carano's socio-political views have put her in major trouble. Apparently, Disney has been keeping a close eye on her social media activity as of late and according to a new rumor, her actions may end up costing her her spot in the Star Wars franchise.

A new report from Inside the Magic suggests that Carano's involvement in The Mandalorian could be in peril if she doesn't issue a proper apology to her fans and the people she has offended with her views regarding mail-in voting and the anti-mask propaganda. According to their insider, Carano may get recast in the series for its upcoming third season, or even worse, the Cara Dune character could be written off entirely.

Gina has yet to issue an official statement regarding the backlash she's been getting but she still uses her social media platform to oftentimes throw some shade at her detractors. Although recently, she's been using Twitter to send out tweets about positivity, inspiration, and empowerment and one would think that Disney has something to do about her sudden social media "silence".

All episodes of The Mandalorian are available for streaming on Disney+.
