The Mandalorian Chapter 11 Marks Live-Action Debut of Beloved Clone Wars Character

Lucasfilm had a few surprises up their sleeve with Chapter 11 of The Mandalorian and it sure pleased longtime fans of the Star Wars saga, especially the folks who followed the animated shows. The third episode of the second season marked the live-action debut of a fan-favorite character in Bo-Katan Kryze, the famed Mandalorian warrior who served as a lieutenant in Death Watch, a terrorist organization that opposed Mandalore's pacifist government during the Clone Wars. The character also appeared in Star Wars Rebels and was voiced by Katee Sackhoff who now plays the character in live-action form. Talk about a full-circle moment!

The episode, titled "The Heiress" comes as a surprise to some fans who initially thought another animated series staple, Sabine Wren would be making an appearance. And although Katee was already previously advertised for the show, it still comes as a holy bleep moment considering the fact that she's reprising her role, only this time, it's in live-action.



It's amazing how the folks behind the Star Wars spinoff show continues to wow us with each episode that they produce. And we haven't even reached the tip of the iceberg yet as more surprises are in store in the coming episodes. And now that Din Djarin was able to locate his "fellow" Mandalorians, we're now inching closer to finding out the true back story behind The Child aka Baby Yoda and that alone should excited you.
