Disney+'s upcoming Marvel offering The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will officially mark a changing of the guard in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As seen in Avengers: Endgame's closing moments, Steve Rogers passed the torch (or should I say his vibranium shield) to Sam Wilson aka The Falcon. Of course, the new MCU show seems to be following the comic storyline where Wilson becomes the next Captain America aka "Falcon Cap".

We've seen bits and pieces of behind-the-scenes goodies from the series, most notably Sebastian Stan's updated Winter Soldier costume but surprisingly, we've yet to see a glimpse at Falcon's new gear. Now, a merch leak from the SuperHeroStuff store (via Murphy's Multiverse) seemingly gives us a better idea of how Wilson's Captain America suit would look like and I gotta say, it somehow resembles his look in the comics. Note that this is an officially licensed Marvel merchandise so more likely than not, this is the look we'll end up getting. Check it out here.

It's quite evident that Sam Wilson will no longer be playing second fiddle in Earth-616 and I'm personally excited to see how he fares as the new Captain America. Of course, things won't be easy for him as the show will obviously revolve around Rogers being replaced by U.S. Agent and Wilson proving he is more than worthy to don the star-spangled mantle. I can't wait for this show to premiere.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will debut on Disney+ in 2021.
