There's been a long-standing debate amongst Marvel fans as to which actor is the best live-action version of Spider-Man and unsurprisingly, each actor who has played the character on the big screen has their own cult following. Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland each bring something unique to the table and at the end of the day, it will always go down as a matter of preference.
Now, if you'll put Andrew on the spot, he'll give you a definitive answer right off the bat. While the actor is proud of his work in Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, he's gracious enough to admit that Tom Holland is the best version of the web-slinger, at least in his view.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the British star was once again put on the hot seat regarding his alleged involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Of course, Garfield tried his best to be consistent in denying the rumors. Later on, the actor shared his honest opinion of fellow Spidey actor Tom and ended the debate once and for all by hailing him as the superior version of the character.
When asked if he's already seen the trailer, Garfield said: "I have and I'm excited and I think that Tom Holland is just the perfect Peter Parker and Spider-Man so I'm just super stoked [about Spider-Man: No Way Home]."

I've always been a fan of Garfield's unorthodox take on Spider-Man and I was extremely disappointed when Sony Pictures ended his Marvel journey after The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But I'm glad that he's finally getting a shot at redemption via Spider-Man: No Way Home and sure, he can deny all he wants, I'm still pretty convinced that he will show up in the film.
