The Mandalorian Season 2 saw the epic live-action debut of characters like Bo-Katan Kryze and Ahsoka Tano who both names for themselves in the Star Wars animated universe. Katee Sackhoff, who voiced Bo-Katan in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels was fortunate enough to cross over from animation to live-action.

Fans were pretty pleased with her performance, so much so that they've been lobbying real hard for other voice actors to make their way to the live-action world, potentially in the third season of The Mandalorian. One actor who fans have been clamoring to see in live-action is Lars Mikkelsen who voiced Grand Admiral Thrawn in the hit animated series.

Now, his co-star Jason Isaacs who voiced Grand Inquisitor in the franchise is expressing his interest in trying out the live-action gig just like Katee Sackhoff. In a recent conversation with Collider, Isaacs said that he's down to reprising the role in live-action as long as he's presented with good material.

He said: "I'm open to anything. It's always about the script. I don't want to just turn up so that I can take some photographs and go to conventions. I'd like to play parts. The Inquisitor was a great part when I played it, and if the Inquisitor was a great part again, I'd be up for it. But yeah, Katee Sackhoff had a very good time. I know Katee and I'll say, I've loved being part of the Star Wars world. They've invited me in although I've only ever been an animated character before."

We still don't know what goes down in The Mandalorian Season 3 and with the latest rumors claiming that current plans call for Grand Admiral Thrawn to make his debut in the standalone Ahsoka series, Din Djarin could totally use a formidable foe in Grand Inquisitor for the next season. Although Season 2's finale may have already teased that Mando will go up against Bo-Katan for the right to rule Mandalore.

All episodes of The Mandalorian are available on Disney+.
