In case you missed it, it's finally been confirmed: Lucasfilm's new Star Wars spinoff series The Book of Boba Fett will hit Disney+ in late 2021. Fans initially thought that the show will serve as the official third season of The Mandalorian but as it turns out, the new Boba Fett show which will see the return of Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen will be a separate and standalone series that follows The Mandalorian's current timeline.

As it stands, we still know very little about the show but it's safe to assume at this point that The Book of Boba Fett will finally give us an answer as to how Boba survived that fatal fall into the Sarlacc Pit in Return of the Jedi. It's also almost guaranteed to address the partnership between the famed bounty hunter and Fennec Shand. Now, a familiar face in the Star Wars Universe is expressing his desire to appear in the show. Daniel Logan, the actor who played young Boba in the prequel films took to Twitter to give fans an update about a possible cameo. He wrote: "I am overwhelmed & touched by all the ideas, comments & support you are all showing for me to, in some way, return as #BobaFett. I hope to! But know, if I don’t, I am so honored to have been a part of such a loved character & to be a part of #StarWars. Thank you everyone! MTFBWY"

It's still early to tell whether Logan could eventually turn up in the show or not but there's one way he could be featured in The Book of Boba Fett, and that is through flashback scenes. The great thing about the duo of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni is that they know the ways to the hearts of fans and should they feel that adding Logan to the mix would be the right thing to do and would benefit the show, I'm pretty sure they will pull the trigger. We'll just have to wait and see.

The Book of Boba Fett will premiere on Disney+ in December 2021.
