It's no secret that Lucasfilm executive Dave Filoni has gained the respect and admiration of fans through the years with his magnificent work in the Star Wars franchise. Following the success of his fan-favorite animated ventures, Filoni would later enter the world of live-action and unsurprisingly, he still delivered proving that the franchise is indeed in good hands.

Even Star Wars icon and Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill is evidently impressed with Dave's body of work and he's come out on numerous occasions to give major props to the producer.

Just recently, Hamill took to Twitter to once again give the Star Wars: The Clone Wars director a little shoutout, commending him for being a "wonderfully kind person". The acting legend would then jokingly say that Filoni is actually the padawan of Star Wars creator George Lucas and I don't know about you, but that is obviously a resounding endorsement from Luke himself. I think we can all agree that the future of the Star Wars franchise is looking more promising than ever and a lot of it can be credited to the collective efforts of Dave Filoni and his partner-in-crime Jon Favreau who have both taken the franchise to new heights.

Considering Disney has been hit or miss with the brand, it's amazing how Filoni and Favreau were able to turn things around for the franchise, and as a bonafide Star Wars fan myself, I'm hoping that the duo will stick around for more years to come.

Meanwhile, The Book of Boba Fett will hit Disney+ this Winter.
