Star Wars Actor Mark Hamill Shares Hilarious Luke Skywalker & Joker Crossover Meme

Mark Hamill is one of those actors who's had the privilege of being associated with not just one but two iconic pop culture characters and in a world where typecasting normally exists, it's quite impressive how guys like Hamill were able to break such stereotypes and still end up being successful in another franchise outside of their previous bubble.

Of course, we all know how his long tenure in the Star Wars franchise gave his career a massive boost and pretty much introduced him to the world of entertainment, but a lot of us also laud Hamill for his iconic and effective portrayal of the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series. Now, in a hilarious turn of events, Hamill pretty much just broke the fourth wall and proved to us that his characters can exist in one universe, a universe made out of Lego, to be exact.

Posting an old meme on his Twitter, Hamill shared a funny image that sees Luke Skywalker disguised as a Stormtrooper, presumably to rescue Princess Leia. A little mishap took place, however, and for some strange reason, he ended up being in Joker's prison cell in Arkham Asylum. Uh-oh! How do you think these characters would've co-existed? The post also adds some political flare into it as he lowkey urges his followers to vote. Check it out here:

Hamill seems to be enjoying his time away from the world of DC and Star Wars but I gotta say, I definitely miss seeing him on screen as the famed Jedi Master or hearing his maniacal Joker laugh in the Batman universe. We still have no idea what's next for him but should he return to any of the said franchises, or heck, even Marvel, that will always be a treat to see.

In other news, The Mandalorian Season 2 hits Disney+ this October 30.
