Marvel Studios established right off the bat that Phase Four will revolve around the multiverse but despite the fact that the studio kicked off the year with WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it's only now that we're getting our first true taste of what's to come through Tom Hiddleston's Loki series which has been a real crowd-pleaser for the last two weeks.
Speaking of the hit Disney+ series, Loki introduced fans to the Time Variance Authority and the cool concept of "variants" aka people who have intentionally or unintentionally violated the laws of the sacred timeline which could ultimately lead to the disruption of the multiverse, and that, of course, includes the God of Mischief.
The first episode of the Marvel spinoff series pretty much teased that a lot of MCU characters have been responsible for messing up the timeline and while it's unclear which heroes or villains have been wreaking havoc all over the sacred timeline, there's certainly a good chance that Peter Parker himself was among them taking into consideration the rumored premise of Spider-Man 3. Digital artist @spdrmnkyxxiii is toying with the idea of Spider-Man becoming a TVA violator and his impressive artwork imagines how things would be if our friendly neighborhood suffered the same fate as Loki. Spider-Man: No Way Home is still shrouded by mystery but if the rumors are to be believed, the film could potentially mark the returns of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, and that alone should be enough to get any Marvel fan excited. And with Loki's Episode 2 teasing that "Lady Loki" may have played havoc with the multiverse, the chances of Peter Parker's multiversal counterparts coming to Earth-616 seems more possible than ever.
