Webheads around the world were hella thrilled when rumors swirled last year that Marvel Studios and Sony's joint production Spider-Man 3 could end up becoming the Marvel Cinematic Universe's live-action version of the Spider-Verse.
We've yet to get an official confirmation from the studios but fans are convinced that we could see guys like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield return for the project.
Reports claim that while Marvel Studios is having a hard time negotiating with Maguire and dealing with his alleged "diva" attitude, Garfield is said to be already secretly attached to the film and some people are guessing that it'll only be a matter of time before the official confirmation is made.
Now, in a stunning new development, the British actor is reportedly in Atlanta right now where Homecoming 3 also happens to be filming. According to a DoorDash delivery guy, he delivered food to the Spidey actor. He even posted about it on Twitter (the original tweet has since been deleted) and the location seen on his tweet confirms that it happened in Atlanta. Coincidence? I guess we'll see. Check out the tweet here:
As it stands, there's no photographic proof to back up the claim that The Amazing Spider-Man actor is in fact in Atlanta so just like any other rumor, take this one with a massive grain of salt.
But honestly, the idea that Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield could be in the same area together gives me hope that we're indeed closing in on the live-action Spider-Verse actually happening.
The yet-to-be-titled Spider-Man 3 hits cinemas in December.
