Even though Sony has previously dismissed the ongoing rumors suggesting Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's involvement in Tom Holland's Spider-Man 3, diehard webheads are still positive and have yet to lose hope regarding a potential live-action Spider-Verse film that a lot of us have been clamoring for for years now. Now, the rumor mill has once again started spinning following Holland's arrival in Atlanta to begin his filming his scenes and according to internet gossips, he's actually with another Spider-Man actor. What?!

A video is surfacing online which sees Holland saying goodbye to his fans as he leaves, presumably to begin filming his scenes. What's causing the most buzz though is the man behind him whom fans think is Andrew Garfield. The guy is quite unrecognizable since he's wearing a face mask but that didn't stop Marvel fans from speculating. It's worth noting though that Garfield was in New York just last week to resume filming for a different movie so yeah.

Now, I hate to break it to you but the fan who shot the video is coming out to dismiss the rumors. The video was actually taken from Tom's final filming day for Uncharted. And the guy behind him was just a bodyguard. Welp.

In his recent Instagram story update, Tom claimed that he'll be working on the film for the next five months which of course could mean that anything can still happen last minute. Just like other fans of the franchise, I'm also still quite hopeful that both Marvel Studios and Sony will deliver some bombshell news in the coming weeks and I'm not going to lie, if we don't get a live-action crossover film with all three Spider-Man actors in it, I'm gonna be so disappointed because as I've mentioned countless times before, it has all the potential in the world to be the biggest superhero crossover event in film history. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed.
