Multiple sources have been reporting that the MCU's Spider-Man 3 will see the debut of the famed Sinister Six which is rumored to include Vulture, Scorpion, and potentially Mysterio, among others. Now, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is "teasing" his involvement in the film ahead of its production kickoff. According to him, he has been cast by Marvel and Sony to play an iconic Spider-Man villain. Hmmm.

Taking to his Twitter account, Kimmel announced that he's playing Kraven the Hunter, one of Spidey's fiercest foes. Of course, we all know that Kimmel is just messing with us and if anything, a cameo appearance in the film is the closest he could get. Looking into the bigger picture, however, this could mean that Jimmy Kimmel Live! could once again be home to an upcoming Spider-Man 3 news. Let's not forget that previously, Tom Holland debuted his Far From Home suit in the show so anything can happen. Check out Kimmel's tweet below:

Expect more exciting news to come out in the coming days and possibly some behind-the-scenes goodies as well since the film begins production in New York on October 16th. As it stands, we still know very little about the upcoming Marvel offering but I have a good feeling that they're cooking up something grand. And while it still hasn't been confirmed if Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures will indeed be creating a live-action Into the Spider-Verse film, Doctor Strange's involvement in the film is enough hit that something mind-blowing is about to take place.
