All eyes are on Simu Liu as he's set to finally make his long-awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe debut and whether he'd like to admit it or not, the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings actor definitely has a huge chip on his shoulder. So far, Simu's arrival to the billion-dollar franchise has been received positively not only by fans and critics but by his fellow Marvel colleagues as well.
In fact, one of the major MCU stars that welcomed Simu to the Marvel family is Thor actor Chris Hemsworth who took to social media to express his excitement over Shang-Chi officially joining the franchise. In an Instagram post that was also linked to Twitter, Hemsworth shared the explosive teaser of the film which featured references to Iron Man, Captain America, and the God of Thunder himself.
The symbolic teaser says: "You are a product of all who came before you" and it's a fitting welcome to the MCU's newest superhero. Hemsworth's post would later catch Simu's attention and his reaction was pretty freaking priceless! Responding to the Thor: Love and Thunder star's tweet, Simu was seemingly at a loss for words and only posted a GIF image of Pikachu's iconic "wow" face. Simu is definitely living his lifelong dream day by day and it's something truly inspirational. After years of trying to get Marvel Studios' attention, he was finally given his first major superhero film role where he's the lead star. Now, I'm sure Simu will make the most out of this golden opportunity and I'm just so excited to see Shang-Chi's journey finally begin. I think we're about to see something truly special with this film.
