We've proven over the last couple of months that nobody is exempted from cancel culture and even Marvel actors have been on the receiving end of social media backlash over several issues. One of the most recent victims is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Sebastian Stan who was lambasted by fans online over accusations of racism. It all began when Stan liked a video on Instagram of a guy insinuating that white people should have a free pass to use the derogatory N-word.

Now, weeks following the internet fiasco, Stan is receiving all the love and support from his fans who showed their concern after the actor's appearance on Variety's recent Marvel panel which also saw appearances from Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, and Tom Hiddleston.

During the said panel interview, when Sebastian was asked by the host how playing the Winter Soldier changed his life, the actor responded with a cryptic answer and said: "You know, you're just trying to kind of, like, still have some sort of life, I guess, without someone commenting on it."

After his statement went viral, fans took to Twitter to rally behind Stan and assure him that they are with him "till the end of the line". I'm pretty sure most of you got that reference. Check out the reactions here:

Meanwhile, while Marvel Studios has yet to announce its future plans for Bucky Barnes, it's safe to assume that the former Winter Soldier will still be a main fixture in the Marvel Cinematic Universe especially now that Sam Wilson just became the new Captain America. Now that he's no longer treated as a side character, I'm hoping that the studio will put the character in a more prominent spot and give Sebastian an upgraded role, much like they did his co-star Anthony Mackie.

All episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are available for streaming on Disney+.
