We've proven over the last couple of weeks how the internet loathes the heck out of Amber Heard and fans are truly hell-bent on derailing her Hollywood career once and for all. Their first step is taking action in an attempt to have her removed from Aquaman 2. We reported last week that an ongoing Change.Org petition which demands Warner Bros. to fire her from the upcoming DC project has passed 1.5 million signatures and the numbers continue to blow up by the day.

As of writing, the petition which was created last November 16 has already reached over 1,639,000 signatures and it's safe to assume that it'll eventually approach the 2 million mark in record time. It won't be long before the creators of the said petition fulfill their target number but the real question is, will it have an effect on Amber's involvement in Aquaman 2 or any other project she's eyeing to become a part of? We'll have to wait and see.

The amount of hate Johnny Depp's ex-wife is getting is nuclear but the folks over at Warner Bros. don't seem to be bothered by the backlash the actress has been getting. It's pretty evident that they're siding with Heard and will do everything in their power to keep her under contract but what's the reason behind it? Sure, Heard is a fantastic actress and she did great in the first Aquaman film but something tells me there's a lot more going on between the two parties.

That said, Aquaman 2 is currently in development.
