It may probably take us a few more years to finally witness the Marvel Cinematic Universe arrival of the mutants and it doesn't look like Kevin Feige and his crew are in a hurry to bring the X-Men in but at this point, it's already safe to assume that they're putting the pieces together slowly but surely.

Kingsman actor Taron Egerton has been a strong contender amongst fans to lead the MCU's mutant series as Logan aka Wolverine but he already dismissed rumors claiming that he's attached to the franchise. That didn't stop fans from clamoring for the Rocketman star and even though his Marvel future is in question, he still remains a favorite.

Now, visual artist Arkin Tyagi is showing fans what Egerton would look like as the claw-slashing, cigar-smoking outlaw in his classic Jim Lee colors. Unveiling his sick artwork on Instagram, it sees how Jim Lee's trademark design would translate in live-action form and I gotta say, it's pretty convincing. Check it out here:

The mutant franchise doesn't look to be a top priority for Marvel Studios for now and I totally understand why. The previous X-Men films haven't really been that great, with the exception of some projects like Days of Future Past, Deadpool, and Logan but yeah, for the most part, the Foxverse was pretty mediocre at best.

It'll be a tough task for the studio to avoid the mistakes the previous films have committed but I'm pretty sure that with Feige, the mutants are in good hands.

Other details about the MCU's X-Men reboot are still being kept under wraps.
