We're one week away from the highly-anticipated premiere of Zack Snyder's Justice League and while the 4-hour superhero extravaganza will be home to several exciting moments, it's safe to say that a lot of fans are most looking forward to witnessing Batman's "Knightmare" vision which would feature a terrifying dystopian feature potentially ruled by Darkseid.

The said sequence wasn't didn't make it to the 2017 theatrical cut helmed by Joss Whedon but the inclusion of the pivotal scene which was first teased in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has always been part of Snyder's agenda in building up his supposed Justice League trilogy. Back in October, the director and a select few actors worked on the additional photography of the project which reportedly would be part of the said Knightmare sequence.

What came as the biggest surprise of all was Amber Heard being tapped to join the "reshoots" and it generated a lot of rumors about her true future in the DC Extended Universe. We reported last December that Amber was rumored to be replacingAquaman actor Jason Momoa in the Knightmare scene and now, a new image from the film's special exhibit at the AT&T Discovery District in downtown Dallas seems to confirm the authenticity of the said rumors.

Several photos were unveiled through the Snyder Cut's official Twitter handle which sees the costumes of some of the heroes like Superman, Batman, and The Flash. Naturally, Mera's costume from the film is also there but interestingly, Aquaman's Trident is right next to it. Check it out here:

This may be hinting that in the dystopian DCEU future, Arthur Curry no longer exists which could definitely mean that Mera will be filling in for the Atlantean king. However, assuming the project doesn't actually fulfill the Knightmare prophecy, is there still a chance that Amber could have an upgraded role in the franchise? It's worth noting of course that the actress has been on the receiving end of a massive backlash for months so it'll be interesting to see if her personal issues end up affecting her spot in the DCEU.
