Streaming giant Netflix finally revealed the official release date for the highly anticipated fourth season of the hit The Karate Kid spinoff series Cobra Kai at their TUDUM virtual event and turns out, we won't have to wait much longer for it to drop. The initial assumption was that the series will premiere Season 4 sometime in 2022 which makes a ton of sense considering Season 3 premiered earlier this year.
Apparently, Cobra Kai Season 4 is eyeing a December 31, 2021 release which means that we're ending 2021 with more Cobra Kai goodness. YES! Coinciding with the official announcement of its release date, Netflix unveiled the official teaser trailer for Ralph Macchio and William Zabka series and as expected, it will revolve around the impending All Valley Karate Tournament, which will see Daniel and Johnny team up to go head-to-head against Kreese's Cobra Kai dojo.
Not only that but fans of The Karate Kid: Part III will also be injected with a major dose of nostalgia and not to mention doom with the return of the movie's main antagonist, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) who is still in phenomenal shape after all these years. Looks like Daniel and Johnny will be in a world of trouble come Season 4 with the grand return of Terry but let's not kid ourselves, there's nothing new there. One thing's for sure though, Thomas Ian Griffith's addition to the cast will lure in the OG fans of The Karate Kid franchise.
All episodes of Cobra Kai Season 4 will debut on December 31 exclusively on Netflix.
