It's already pretty evident that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is exploring Bucky's road to clarity and his days in Wakanda and the previous episode alone gave us a better view of what the ex-Winter Soldier had to go through in order to become free from the clutches of Hydra that has haunted him for years. Now, with the sudden appearance of Ayo and the Dora Milaje, it's obvious that Wakanda will play a vital role in the hit Disney+ show.

Surprisingly, despite the fact that it featured the return of the Dora Milaje and an emotional flashback scene from Bucky's life-altering time in Wakanda, Episode 4 didn't feature a single direct reference to T'Challa and Black Panther which seems a little odd considering Bucky mentioned Shuri and thanked her for helping him get his life back.

Naturally, the Wakandans' involvement in the series led a lot of fans to believe that Black Panther could be making an appearance in upcoming episodes. Some of them are even speculating that the late Chadwick Boseman was actually able to film his scenes for the show. Now, Marvel Studios producer Nate Moore is opening up about all the rumors surrounding the deceased actor's potential cameo in the MCU's Phase 4 series.

In a conversation with Variety, Moore officially debunked the wild theory and said there's no way Boseman would've been able to film scenes for the show. He says: "No. I can say. That is not going to happen. I would be honest if it was. Chad's passing is a whole life thing, and I loved the guy as much as the character."

As much as I hate to break it to you, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier began filming two months following Chadwick's death so all speculations surrounding his involvement in the show could easily be thrown out of the window. Now, whether or not the series actually addresses the death of the late actor and the future of the Black Panther mantle remains to be seen.

The latest episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now streaming on Disney+.
