Now that we've reached the highly-anticipated finale, I think it's already safe to say that Marvel Studios nailed another one out of the park with its standalone Loki series. The show which revolves around the consequences of the 2012 version of the God of Mischief's actions in Avengers: Endgame instantly clicked with fans despite all of the confusion and sacred timeline mumbo jumbo surrounding it.

The finale episode of the show centers on Loki and Sylvie's quest to uncover the truth behind the Time Variance Authority which has been a huge mystery since the show began. The previous episodes of the series have been hinting that there's something fishy going on within the confines of the TVA and Episode 6 finally introduced us to the person who has been pulling the strings all along — "He Who Remains" aka Kang the Conqueror.

But aside from Kang's official debut, there's a lot to unpack in the explosive finale. Episode 6 was plagued with tons of questions like, what exactly happened to Sylvie? Where is Ravonna headed? Why wasn't Loki affected by the "reset" that took place within the TVA after Sylvie killed "He Who Remains"? After seeing the episode, fans took to Twitter to express their mixed emotions. Check out some of the reactions below:

Bewilderment aside, I think we can all agree that Loki still managed to exceed expectations and now we await what happens in Season 2. Obviously, Marvel Studios still has major plans on the table for the God of Mischief and I have a good feeling that we won't have to wait until the second season to see him return. It's quite obvious that Loki will play a significant role now that the timelines could be gearing up for another multiversal war.

Loki's finale episode is now streaming on Disney+.
