The Falcon and the Winter Soldier made major tweaks to one of its "villains" the Flag-Smasher turning it into a woman who goes by the name Karli Morgenthau in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So far, actress Erin Kellyman has been doing a fantastic job with the role which obviously plays a significant part in the hit Marvel spin-off series. Unsurprisingly, the up-and-coming star is already gaining quite the following worldwide thanks to her current Marvel tenure and it's safe to assume that things will only pick up from there.
To be fair, Erin is actually pretty charming so it doesn't come as a surprise anymore how boys (and even girls) are suddenly crushing on her. But in case you weren't aware, Kellyman is actually openly gay and in fact, she's currently in a relationship with her girlfriend Jordan O'Coy whom she even attended a Pride Parade with back in 2019.
Naturally, this came as a major shocker to a lot of fans especially to those who are only finding out about the actress' sexual orientation. Even though most fans were shocked to learn that she's actually gay, a lot of them still took to Twitter to express their support for Kellyman who's obviously happy with where she's at right now. Now, speaking of Karli, it'll be interesting to see if the character actually survives by the end of the show considering that John Walker aka Captain America is hell-bent on making her pay for the demise of Lemar Hoskins aka Battlestar. He clearly has a score to settle with Morgenthau and now that his abilities have been enhanced by the super-soldier serum, who knows what he's now capable of doing. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out but currently, Karli is in a tough spot.
