Most of us are waiting for Episode 4 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to drop in a few hours but a lot of fans have yet to move on from Baron Zemo's viral act in Episode 3 which has spawned several memes all over the internet. If you haven't been keeping up with the Marvel Cinematic Universe spinoff show, there's one scene in last week's episode that features a brief moment wherein Zemo was just feeling himself and just vibing to the atmosphere of the Madripoor night club.
Oddly enough, the scene instantly clicked with Marvel fans and even went viral on social media. Daniel Brühl recently opened up about the unexpectedly positive response the scene was able to generate and according to him, aside from the fact that it was improvised, they actually shot an extended version of the sequence which didn't make it to the final cut of Episode 3.
Lo and behold, after strong demand from fans who recently launched the wacky #ReleaseTheZemoCut movement, Marvel Studios finally answered our prayers and unveiled a one-hour-long cut of the viral dancing Zemo scene and the actor sure wasn't kidding when he said they filmed an extended version of it. Check out Zemo strutting his moves in all its glory here:
I can't stress this enough, I'm beyond glad that Marvel Studios and the people behind The Falcon and the Winter Soldier made the decision to turn Zemo into a fun and more grounded character much different from what we saw in Captain America: Civil War. It's a welcome change for sure and unsurprisingly, fans, myself included are now rooting for the villain. Of course, the idea of him turning back to his old ways isn't exactly out of the question but this version of Zemo has been brilliant so far.
The latest episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now streaming on Disney+.
