The severed hand Luke Skywalker suffered at the hands of his own father Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader in Episode V - The Empire Strike Back is no laughing matter but it sure spawned several jokes, memes, and even merchandise and collectibles that are extremely popular amongst Star Wars fanatics. However, it may be all fun and games for some people but acting legend Mark Hamill takes Luke's traumatic experience really seriously.

Taking to Twitter, the social media savvy Hollywood icon expressed his true feelings about Luke losing his right limb thanks to his Sith daddy. In his recent tweet, Hamill jokingly called out fans who celebrate "a grievous bodily injury" by means of collecting merch items related to Luke's severed hand. It's downright hilarious, I gotta say. Speaking of, Hamill's cameo in The Mandalorian Season 2's grand finale pretty much proved that Luke Skywalker is still a hot commodity in the Star Wars franchise after all these decades, and if anything, Lucasfilm would be foolish not to bring him back. Of course, it's safe to assume that the Jedi Master along with Grogu aka Baby Yoda will make his comeback in the third season of the hit Disney+ series but is a standalone Luke series too much to ask? Believe me, the fans will eat that one up. Just pull the trigger already, Disney.
