The entire Marvel fandom was filled with excitement when several rumors circulated over the weekend that Spider-Man: No Way Home's first official trailer will drop sometime this week. In fact, the persistent rumor going on is that the teaser will premiere on Tom Holland's 25th birthday. Naturally, webheads stayed vigilant all over social media and awaited the potential premiere of the teaser on the first day of June but Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures didn't drop any content as previously speculated.

This led to a lot of people expressing their disappointment on the internet as the majority of the Spider-Man fandom were 100% convinced that a trailer would drop on Holland's special day which isn't too hard to believe considering Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ring's action-packed trailer actually debuted on Simu Liu's birthday. A lot of fans felt robbed and took to Twitter to air their collective dismay as the waiting game resumes. Check out some of the reactions below:

Several notable insiders have claimed that our first taste won't be coming until July when Black Widow finally premieres on the big screen. However, tipsters like Grace Randolph and Daniel Richtman have recently reported that movie theaters have already received copies of the theatrical trailer which will probably hit cinemas first before they do online. I totally get the frustration fans are feeling right now but I feel like it's only a matter of time before the studios hit us out of nowhere with some much-needed Spidey content.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit cinemas this December.
