The true identity of the Time-Keepers has remained a huge mystery to a lot of fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but Episode 4 of Marvel Studios' Loki series finally uncovered the truth behind the puzzling entities. There's a lot to unpack in the said episode and much like the previous one, it continues to tease something about the Time Variance Authority that for some fascinating reason, only Judge Ravonna Renslayer seems to know.

Episode 3 saw Sylvie make a stunning revelation about the TVA and the so-called "variants" wreaking havoc across the sacred timeline. According to her, every person working in the organization was once a variant and had their memories erased by the Time-Keepers. In Episode 4 titled "The Nexus Event", Loki and Sylvie were once again under the supervision of the TVA, and in an attempt to finally exterminate them, Renslayer brings the two Loki variants to the lair of the Time-Keepers.

Chaos ensues as Loki and Sylvie, with the help of Hunter B15 fight off the TVA and Ravonna herself. One would think that with the mystifying Time-Keepers around, our "heroes" wouldn't stand a chance but shockingly enough, they easily conquer the TVA agents and Sylvie would then proceed to behead one of the Time-Keepers in gruesome fashion. But there's another catch, following the altercation, the two Lokis find out that the Time-Keepers aren't actually real and just androids. What?!

Naturally, this begs the question: are the Time-Keepers actually real or are they just made-up deities by the true mastermind behind the TVA? Who is the actual person behind the mysterious organization? And what role exactly does Ravonna play in all of this? Episode 5 can't come sooner!

The latest episode of Loki is now streaming on Disney+.
