Marvel fans have been patiently waiting for a surprise cameo to appear in the hit Disney+ series Loki and Episode 4 finally delivered. The fourth episode revolves around the Time Variance Authority's plans of eradicating Loki and Sylvie after "Lady Loki" creates a disruption in the sacred timeline. As the two were preparing to meet their doom in Lamentis-1 following an apocalyptic event, the TVA swoops in to capture the variants and bring them back to the organization.

When Loki and Mobius meet once again, the God of Mischief goes through another round of interrogation from the esteemed TVA agent where he attempts to reveal what he found out from Sylvie — that the folks working in the TVA are variants whose memories were wiped out by the Time-Keepers.

Still upset about being betrayed by his "friend", Mobius unsurprisingly doesn't buy Loki's claims and decides to imprison him in a fairly familiar place. Using the TVA's magical portal, Mobius transports Loki back to Asgard at a particular time in his life. We later see the jaw-dropping return of Lady Sif who is making her MCU appearance after eight long years.

It's great to see Jaimie Alexander back in the franchise even if it was just a cameo appearance. It's a nice little setup for her actual full-time return in Thor: Love and Thunder and seeing her interact with Loki sure brought back a lot of memories from the MCU's early phases.
