Streaming fans better not sleep on Apple TV+ as it continues to prove that it's more than capable of keeping up with other popular services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ which is recently gaining a lot of followers thanks to its Marvel content. 2021 promises to be a good year for the Apple streaming service in terms of content. Speaking of which, this coming fall, a brand new science-fiction show will change the way we view aliens and how a potential invasion from extraterrestrial beings will affect the entire world.
Invasion is a brand new series that revolves around the story of one alien civilization that is out to take over the planet. Ahead of its scheduled Fall premiere, Apple TV+ unveiled the teaser for the upcoming series and I gotta say, it's equally haunting and breathtaking. The two-minute trailer starts with a view of a picturesque mountain before it transitions to major metropolitan areas across the globe. It later focuses on the said alien invasion as a voiceover discusses how humanity responds to aliens conquering our planet.
Over the course of the clip, mysterious signs begin to manifest all around the world in the form of crop circles, blackouts, nosebleeds, and more. The already chaotic trailer ends by teasing the arrival of a massive spacecraft. Check out the trailer here:
There's no denying that we are now living in the age of video streaming and the COVID-19 pandemic pretty much established how vital they actually are. The great thing is, fans have the option to choose which streaming platform suits their taste and you know what they say, variety is the spice of life.
