Great news, Man of Steel fans! Henry Cavill could once again be taking flight as Superman in the DCEU as per a new report claiming that the British actor has signed a new three-picture deal to reprise his role as the Kryptonian hero.

In an exclusive scoop, The Cultured Nerd's source claims that Henry recently pitched an idea for a new Superman film that earned him praises from Warner Bros. executives leading to them extending his contract. It's fantastic news coming on the heels of the recently-concluded #DCFanDome. Of course, take everything with a grain of salt but if it's indeed true that we're going to get ourselves a Man ofSteel sequel, where the heck do I sign up?! Henry is considered by a lot of fans as the new standard-bearer when it comes to playing Superman on the big screen and it's about damn time we got what we wanted all these years. Let's just "hope" the rumors end up being true! My fingers are crossed!

Meanwhile, Cavill is set to appear in Netflix's Enola Holmes which premieres on September 23rd.
