Most people didn't expect to see it actually go down but after almost four years, Zack Snyder was finally able to unveil his true version of Justice League which ultimately won the hearts of a lot of fans and even critics. Some are even saying that it is hands down the best DC Extended Universe film they've seen to date and the film's strong social media presence just solidifies that even further and up until now, the Snyder Cut is still generating positive reactions left and right since its premiere.

Apparently, HBO Max executives have another reason to rejoice as the Snyder Cut's unprecedented triumph has proved to be a game-changer for the relatively new streaming service. According to data retrieved by Bloomberg, the 4-hour film helped HBO Max increase its viewership, and the app alone was launched 119.1 million times last week. Of course, it's safe to assume that fans were actually watching the Snyder Cut and nothing else on the platform.

And for the first time since its launch, HBO Max was able to best other streaming giants like Hulu, Netflix, and even Disney+ which is the exclusive home to a lot of Marvel-related content.

Now, if the rumors are to be believed that Warner Bros. is trying its best to divert the fans' attention away from the Snyder Cut, don't be surprised if they don't end up releasing the official data regarding the film's streaming performance. Still, this is a promising new development for Zack Snyder and his crew and it could be a huge turning point in their quest to restore the SnyderVerse.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is now available for streaming on HBO Max.
