The entire Marvel fandom got real excited this week when rumors circulated online that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will feature the much-awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Johnny Blaze aka the original Ghost Rider. However, as cool as that sounds, some fans weren't thrilled with the idea of Blaze's potential MCU arrival as a lot of them believe that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Gabriel Luna, who plays the Robbie Reyes version of the character should be the one to join the billion-dollar franchise.

Luna's portrayal of Reyes instantly became a favorite amongst fans and following the conclusion of the hit ABC Marvel series, the clamor for the actor to make his return as the hell blazing Marvel hero only intensified. Now, the actor is seemingly expressing his desire to reprise the character while teasing the appearance of Robbie Reyes in Doctor Strange 2.

If you'll take a look at Gabriel's Twitter activity, you'll notice that he's been liking anything Ghost Rider-related and that includes the current rumors surrounding the Marvel character. Interestingly, he also liked digital artist BossLogic's sick artwork of Robbie Reyes entering Doctor Strange's portal, seemingly hinting at his potential arrival to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It's worth mentioning that has never been considered canon to the MCU which makes things a little complicated especially for actors who only appeared in spinoff shows that weren't exactly overseen by Kevin Feige and his Marvel Studios crew. Now, whether or not we'll see the Robbie Reyes iteration of Ghost Rider pop up in upcoming MCU projects remains a mystery for now but given the fact that we're now dealing with the multiverse, anything is possible.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit cinemas in March 2022.
