I believe it's no longer a secret to many fans what lengths most actors have to go through when they land a coveted role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Apart from the mental and emotional preparations, a lot of them undergo serious physical training just to achieve that superhero physique. One actor who stunned a lot of people with his drastic physical transformation is Eternals actor Kumail Nanjiani who plays Kingo in the upcoming Phase Four project. However, as impressive as his road to getting ripped actually is, he may have gone overboard with it or that's what Marvel thinks, at least.

Turns out, Marvel was just as shocked as everyone else when they saw Kumail's jaw-dropping new physique. According to Eternals producer Nate Moore (via ScreenRant), the Stuber actor got a little too jacked up to the point where they had to pull him back and ask him to take it easy on his workout because his role as a Bollywood superstar didn't call for him to get too huge.

Moore explains: "I will say this because this is the truth, we were like, ‘hey Kumail don't worry about it. You don't have to get in a ton, like this isn't the movie where we have to work out a ton.' But he wanted to do it and he got at some point I had to call him said, "Kumail I think you got too big" because we saw him I think on Kimmel or something. He's a movie star. He's not a bodybuilder and we had to pull Kumail back ... He was so excited to be in the movie he was just invested, but yeah, he got big. I've been in the gym with him it is very intimidating."

Welp, I guess Kumail got a little too excited that he failed to understand the assignment that was given to him. But kidding aside, his crazy physical transformation serves as a massive inspiration to a lot of folks out there especially the ones who have been ridiculed for the longest time about the way they look. As for Kingo, expect him to be one of the major players for the Eternals. I'm excited to see what each of them actually brings to the table.

Marvel Studios' Eternals will hit cinemas on November 5th
