More and more people are getting behind Cyborg actor Ray Fisher following the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League as it pretty much proved the actor's previous claims that his character arc was sidelined by Warner Bros. and Joss Whedon who took over the film for Snyder after he left production in early 2017.
For months now, Fisher has been calling out Whedon, Warner Bros., and DC executives, namely Walter Hamada and Geoff Johns for allegedly ganging up against him amid the Justice League investigation. The actor has also been dropped from the upcoming solo The Flash film and his DCEU future doesn't look all that promising.
Fisher is hell-bent on his personal crusade to have Hamada fired from his role as DC Films President and while he pretty much accepted his DCEU fate, he expressed his desire to return to do the supposed standalone Cyborg film as long as Zack Snyder or former The Flash director Rick Famuyiwa helms the project.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the controversial actor is once again taking jabs at Warner Bros., claiming that he doesn't believe some of the people in charge "are fit for positions of leadership." He later went into detail about Johns' overinvolvement in his Cyborg portrayal and instead of playing him as a modern-day version of Frankenstein, Fisher claims Johns insisted on turning the character into a "kindhearted Quasimodo" type.
It's safe to say that Ray isn't done with his stunning exposés and at this point, it doesn't look like he cares whether or not he's booted out of the DC Extended Universe. Clearly, Fisher is out to seek justice not only for himself but for other actors and employees who have all been on the receiving end of WB's unjust ways.
Meanwhile, Zack Snyder's Justice League is still streaming on HBO Max.
