Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is already no stranger to fans hating on him on social media but he had to endure arguably the toughest fan backlash yet just a couple of months back when people slammed him for not participating in Joe Biden's Presidential fundraiser which featured some of his Avengers castmates. Last year, Pratt was also under fire for allegedly being anti-LGBTQ after a photo of him visiting an alleged anti-LGBTQ church surfaced.

The Marvel star is once again being dragged by fans on Twitter following the comic book company's confirmation that his GOTG character Star-Lord is bisexual. The stunning development was revealed in Guardians of the Galaxy #9 written by Al Ewing and it features a panel where Quill shares an intimate moment with humanoid alien couple Aradia and Mors. As soon as they learned about the news, they wasted no time and took to the microblogging site to throw some shade at Pratt. Check out some of the reactions here:

In Pratt's defense, the allegations thrown at him have yet to be proven and people just concluded that he's indeed against LGBTQ rights after his controversial photo made headlines last year. Now, it'll be interesting to see if this new iteration of Peter Quill will eventually make his way to the MCU canon and if Pratt would be willing to portray a bisexual Star-Lord despite the fans' personal opinion of him.

In other news, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will hit Disney+ in 2022.
