Details regarding Thor: Love and Thunder are slowly unfolding as the Chris Hemsworth-led film is confirmed to begin production in early 2021. Now, the mighty Avenger is hyping up the film's upcoming filming and Hemsworth claims that Thor will once again undergo a "dramatic" transformation for the film which also sees the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster who's also set to switch from a damsel in distress to her own superhero.
Hemsworth recently sat down with the Swisse Vitamins and Supply Company and he excitingly shared that the fouth Thor film is set to begin filming in January next year. Not only that, but we could also see a new version of the mighty Asgardian in the project. Here's what Chris had to say: "[I'm] very excited to try to do something different, you know, the last three films we certainly, I think, pushed the envelope and created different versions of the character, and now people expect some dramatic changes. In my view, Thor is one of the characters, if not the only character that has evolved drastically over the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it all began, of course, in Thor: Ragnarok, the project which pretty much reinvigorated the entire franchise. Thor 4 could very well see his road to redemption given the fact that he's obviously been dealing with PTSD in Avengers: Endgame. With Jane's stunning comeback in the franchise, it'll also be interesting to see the dynamic between Foster and her former flame. Are they willing to set aside their differences and fight side-by-side or are they going to clash?
Thor: Love and Thunder is expected to drop sometime in 2022.
