Letitia Wright made headlines last week when The Hollywood Reporter published an article alleging the Marvel Cinematic Universe actress of "espousing" her views and beliefs against COVID-19 vaccines and their efficacy. Wright has been labeled by many as an "anti-vaxxer" late last year after she shared a controversial video on Twitter that seems to question the effectiveness of the said vaccines.
Now, the Shuri actress is finally breaking her silence following the controversy. Letitia didn't confirm nor deny the initial allegations that blew up last year but according to her, THR's recent report is far from credible. In a lengthy Instagram post, the 27-year-old actress dismissed the issue and said that the entertainment website's controversial set report is "untrue".
Her full statement reads: "God bless you all. It saddens me to have to address the reports published by The Hollywood Reporter on October 6th 2021. The report spoke about my conduct on the set of Black Panther 2. I honestly assert that this was completely untrue. Anyone who knows me or has worked with me, knows that I work incredibly hard at my craft & my main focus is always to do work that's impactful and inspiring. That has been & will continue to be my only focus. I will continue to hold onto God's hands, and onto the scripture of Isaiah 54:17. I continue to focus on my healing. Thank you for your prayers. And I continue to pray for God's love, peace & joy for you all. God bless you."

Well, I guess the issue can finally die now. I still find it weird though that she never addressed the issue the first time around. Now, it has me thinking that maybe, just maybe Disney had something to do with Letitia finally breaking her silence. I mean, the idea isn't too farfetched to believe when you think about it. Either that or maybe she just doesn't want to jeopardize her career over the allegations.
