Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's debut film in the DC Extended Universe Black Adam may have been experiencing several production delays over the last couple of years but as it stands, the project, which Johnson has been developing for 10 years now is looking more and more promising by the day. We learned this week that another character has been added to the film and that is Cyclone which will be portrayed by rising actress Quintessa Swindell.

So far, the film is already stacked with Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo), and Isis (Sarah Shai) all confirmed to appear. Apparently, the project could also feature an integral member of the Justice Society of America/Justice League and Johnson is already hyping up his arrival. In a recent Twitter exchange with tipster Grace Randolph, the former WWE star revealed that Doctor Fate is "coming soon". While it wasn't mentioned which version of the character it will be, it's safe to assume at this point that it will be Kent Nelson. Now, that's some great news right there! Check it out here:

Production for Black Adam is expected to begin real soon and plans of course call for the sometimes villainous and sometimes heroic character to make his way to the current DCEU timeline and go head-to-head with Zachary Levi's Shazam! and possibly the Man of Steel himself down the line. It's a little too early to tell but hopefully, this one will also be able to deliver and continue the wave of momentum for DC.

No official release date has been revealed for Black Adam.
