The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes are polar opposites in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but did you know that the same thing applies for actors Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan who pretty much embody the respective personalities of the characters they portray?

First sharing the screen together in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it's pretty safe to say at this point that their friendship has grown much deeper over the years but apparently, there are still times when they can't seem to stand each other.

In an interview with BBC Radio, the Falcon actor opened up about his bond with his co-star but not without taking a few friendly jabs at the actor whom he describes as someone who is "boring" and "introverted". Playfully throwing shade at Sebastian, he shares: "He's literally the most boring person I've ever met in my life."

Stan later had the opportunity to clap back at Mackie during an appearance on Good Morning America and revealed the true reason why he's labeled as a boring individual. He says: "The reason I'm so 'boring' is that half the time I have to listen to him talk. He just talks so much that I never get a word in, so he never knows anything about me."

I gotta say, despite the fact that they're complete opposites, they complement each other really well and it shows. One thing that I have to add is that I love how their friendship and dynamic in the MCU have changed from starting off as enemies to becoming trusty allies. And while it's debatable which duo is actually the superior buddies in the franchise, Sam and Bucky are definitely part of that list.

The latest episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now streaming on Disney+.
