Ahsoka: Star Wars Fans Want Sabine Wren Voice Actress to Reprise Role in Live-Action

If it wasn't obvious enough, Lucasfilm's upcoming Ahsoka series is shaping up to be a grand Star Wars Rebels reunion. First hinted during The Mandalorian Season 2's Ahsoka Tano-centric episode "The Jedi", the standalone project starring Rosario Dawson is set to feature the much-awaited live-action debut of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Reports would later spread like wildfire that Ezra Bridger is also joining the series and as a matter of fact, the production company has reportedly cast Lars Mikkelsen and Mena Massoud for the respective roles.

Now, another fan-favorite Rebels character is set to join the fray as Sabine Wren is reportedly appearing in Ahsoka as well. As it stands, Lucasfilm is currently looking for the perfect actress who will bring life to Sabine in live-action form but if you were to ask diehard fans of the Star Wars franchise, the production company shouldn't bother looking elsewhere because to them, voice actress Tiya Sircar is a no-brainer choice for the role.

Sircar, of course, is best known as Sabine's voice actress in the Star Wars animated universe, and much like Katee Sackhoff who successfully transitioned from animation to live-action in The Mandalorian, a lot of people believe that Sircar will pull the character off outside of the recording booth. Sircar has yet to react to the news about Sabine Wren's involvement in Ahsoka but I'm pretty sure that if the opportunity presented itself, she'd be beyond delighted to take on the role in live-action. While it's still a little too early to tell what Lucasfilm's move would be, I have complete faith that the dynamic duo of Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau will consider bringing her back for the project. I mean, let's be real here, she's the only ideal candidate for the role and the entire Star Wars fandom (myself included) believes it.

Ahsoka is currently in development.
