Boba Fett and Han Solo Rumored For Second Star Wars Anthology Film

The second Star Wars Anthology film may finally explore at length the feud between Han Solo and the bounty hunter Boba Fett.

Schmoes Know's report points on multiple rumors about the two iconic characters taking center stage in the spin-off film. According to the site's source, the Anthology film film is expected to debut in 2018 to follow 2016's Star Wars: Rogue One spin-off.

X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn and Iron Man 1 and 2 director John Favreau are both said to be involved with the project. The second Star Wars Anthology film's original director Josh Trank dropped out last month.

Rumors about Boba Fett and Han Solo films have been floating around, but pairing the two in one film sounds like a fresh idea. If this actually happens, the Fett/Solo film is believed to take place between the events of Star Wars: Episode III- - Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New hope. If that's the case, they'd need to find a younger actor to play the young Han Solo.

The site adds that characters such as Bossk, Chewbacca, and Lando would likely appear in the film as well. The site also says that there's a rumor that a third Anthology film is in the works for a 2020 release. The third film would take a more "mythological and spiritual" slant. It might be focused on Yoda, but it's too early to tell.

So would you like to see Fett and Solo in a Star Wars Anthology film?
