Reply 1997 is the first installment of the Reply series. The Kdrama stars APINK Jung Eun Ji, Seo In Guk, Hoya, Shin So Yul, Eun Ji Won, Lee Si Eon, Sung Dong Il, Lee Il Hwa, and Song Jong Ho.
The 2012 tvN series centers on the lives of six friends who live in Busan. It also tackles the passion and devotion of a fangirl in the 1990s. In particular, APINK Eunji's portrayal of an H.O.T fan gained praise from the audience and Kdrama critics for her raw and genuine acting.

The series tells the bittersweet story of three friends who lived during the 1930s when Korea was under Japanese rule. They reincarnate into the present as a best-selling author who experiences a slump from writing, a fan of his, and a ghostwriter (literal ghost).
