WandaVision Set Photos Possibly Hint at More Elaborate Scarlet Witch Costume

Despite the MCU having a major delay because of COVID-19, Disney is still planning to have WandaVision debut before the end of the year. What's interesting is, we have some new set photos from the show (via Elizabeth Olsen Brazil), and we could be looking at a more comic-accurate depiction of Scarlet Witch's costume from the comics.

While we do have the tease of Wanda wearing a version of the SW outfit in the teaser, that one is obviously a play on a Halloween costume. The photo here could be a part of a more ‘serious' look at the get-up, then again, I can't imagine the outfit actually having fishnets. With the show allegedly dealing with warped reality though, I guess something like this can actually work.

Besides Elizabeth Olsen in costume, there are also set photos that have Paul Bettany, Teyonah Parris, and Kathryn Hahn in different period outfits.

While Marvel movies can be kind of cookie-cutter in the box office, Disney+ is promising us more experimental stories moving forward—one of them being WandaVision. We don't really know what kind of story we're in for, but everyone is almost sure it will have something to do with Scarlet Witch being able to bend reality, and here she has somehow willed Vision back to life—or has she?

No release date has been set for WandaVision, but the series is expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime before the year ends.
