Vince Gilligan Working On Movie Set In Breaking Bad Universe

The finale for Better Call Saul 4 had just aired, and now news is coming out that we're going to be getting another major expansion in the world of Breaking Bad.

As per The Hollywood Reporter,Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is working on a 2-hour film that will be set in the world of Breaking Bad. It's unclear whether this movie is going to be made for TV or a theatrical release, but there are some details that we know.

It's said that the working title for the film will be Greenbrier and will follow the story of a kidnapped man who has escaped and is on a quest for freedom. The premise sounds incredibly vague, but with the colorful characters and world of Breaking Bad, we know that the story could go anywhere.

Gilligan is set to pen the script and possibly direct the film. Producers Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein are also attached to the project. Probably the biggest question on everyone's mind is if Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will return as the infamous duo of Walt and Jesse. As it turns out, their involvement is still unsure.

Though Breaking Bad may have ended way back in 2013, the series has found a great successor in spinoff prequel Better Call Saul. With this movie announced though, I have a feeling that BCS is somewhat nearing its end. After all, Jimmy McGill has now officially changed his practicing name to Saul Goodman.

No release date has been set for this Breaking Bad film.
